MAATKIT : Percona's Flagship Database Tookit

MAATKIT (created by Percona) was a set of tools that allowed for making a DB Infrastructure easier to monitor, maintain, and and repair data.

While these tools were good, Percona didn't let the good tools stay good. They enhanced it even more so. In so doing, MAATKIT was deprecated and superseded by Percona Toolkit.
