I suggest asking your all of your DBA questions on StackOverflow for the time being: 100% of them are on topic there. I find the moderators on DBA.SE to be less mature and a hindrance to useful contributions. I do not wish to participate here (currently).
The straw that broke the camel's back was
- Getting suspended for giving a bounty to a good question because a moderator thought the bounty wasn't on the substance of the question.
- Upon returning I was in chat and was rudely encouraged to make extensive edits by a moderator and then they rolled them back. It is not acceptable to me for moderators to troll conversations in chat and use their privileges to roll back good faith contributions from the community. Regular users better the site without using chat to start edit wars. In this case, I do not believe superfluous indexes should be included in a question when we know the answer so I trim them out to make the site more accessible. The moderator disagreed, and immediately after editing felt the need to rollback the edit without any input from the person asking the question. When within the rules, mods should not be doing "my way or the highway" on their personal preferences.
