I am an IT Specialist by profession. I have been in the IT industry for a little of 25 years now.

I started by repairing computers, supporting companies hardware failure issues. I did a lot of traveling seeing beautifully designed companies, as I repair computers printers and servers.

One of my greatest moments was visiting the Bell Labs in New Jersey and meeting some great minds, and seeing how passionate folks were about their jobs.

I went on to get a BA in Networking, and was giving another opportunity to repair a different beast in the PC system know as Point of Sale Systems, POS for short. For this, I saw a whole new world. I repair phones, printers, price checkers and everything needed to run a department store. I even had a chance to touch token rings, for you young folks, its the old internet.

I later when back to school to obtain a Masters in Information technology. It lead me to become a Data Integration Specialist, which made me to value the importance of gathering good data or basically finding the true meaning behind the data on your reports. After a few years of integrating data and telling stories about data, I landed in my new role as an Enterprise VoIP Support Engineer.

I helped make the world communicate, so the next time you make a call to check on your cable service, just say thank you Steven. Overall I love the IT field, I am on one last journey to become a frontend and backend developer and to one day build an app that you may used. I currently host a Talk Show on Facebook Called Liberia Shall Rise and love music and dancing. Lets enjoy what we do, and try to make this world a better place.
