enter image description hereI have a problem where I need to determine the load of each bearing in a system comprised of three shafts. I have two questions regarding this:

  1. There are three shafts connected with 2 couplings. If I consider the 3 shafts as one shaft the problem is statically indeterminate. Is it reasonable to examine each shaft individually?
  2. There is an input shaft, transfer shaft, and output shaft. The input shaft is connected to a motor applying a torque on it. Do I need to consider this when making my FBD of the system? I have gotten mixed answers from colleagues

I have a picture of the system if it would help but I cannot figure out how to add it so let me know if you would like to see it - Thank you to comments for helping

Red represents the couplers and the grey rectangles are bearings. The middle two are kept in a bearing block. The long red rectangle is a torque transducer which is mounted to ground. Hopefully you can see the black lines indicating where each shaft would end.
