I'm a mechanical engineer workng in the subsea and marine industries.

In my spare time I dabble in electronics and computing. Arduino, RPi and Cubietruck are my current hardware platforms. I began learning linux on the RPi, running an ownCloud server. I then progressed to a Cubietruck on which I run an ownCloud sever, Media server and NAS.

I do not design electronic products for mass production; however, my day job is multidisciplinary and requires close collaboration with electronics and software engineers.
