What you did in the first place looks OK, however you have now installed lots of incompatible software from other sites. If it didn't work in the first place this isn't going to magically fix it.

I suggest you delete all the extra stuff, or start again.

Then you can start trying to solve your problem. It is likely that this is a power issue. The Model 1B has a rather inadequate power system. Many people needed powered hubs.

It may be that the signal is too weak, as indicated in the first output.
