I have a backup, including partitions, from a computer that has a 110 GB SSD. We upgraded that PC to 2 TB M.2 Drive.

I then ran a restore with Rescue Redo using the previously created backup, to the new computer with the larger M.2 Drive. We repaired the boot sector and the system is booting.

But there is approx 1.75 TB of unallocated space in the drive. I read that the unallocated space needs to be adjacent to the C: partition in order to extend the drive using Windows Disk Manager.

GParted

How do I extend nvme0n1p2 111.19 GB with the 1.75 TB unallocated?

The unallocated space does not appear on the "Resize" within Gparted either.

These are some of the resources I have been reading on the matter:

I was hoping I'd be able to mirror the drive onto larger drive, instead of manually copying and installing apps on a fresh windows install. I'm feeling really defeated on this.

Ideally I am trying to merge the 1.75 TB in with the 111.19 GB to increase available space on a single drive, rather than expanding the drive into another letter.

Typically in this scenario, you need to move the p3 partition to between p1 and p2. Then you will be able to extend the p2 partition with the empty space, as it is contiguous.
