We are seeing this error fairly regularly when a user tries to connect to our production SSID, there is no correlation I can find that causes the error. The setup is wireless authentication using 802.1x, we have a Cisco 9800 WLC and Windows 2022 configured for NPS. The event log shows the error "There is no domain controller available for domain $HOSTNAME.", where $HOSTNAME is the name of the computer the end user is signed in on. The only common denominator is the clients are all running Windows 11, it doesn't seem to happen to clients still on Windows 10.
Edit (more information): This error corresponds to the user not able to join the wireless, which we have set to do automatically via GPO. Our work around is to have the user logout and sign into the wireless from the login screen, which seems to resolve the problem for a period of many weeks to months.
