I'm a software engineer. I mainly use C/C++/Python on Linux and Windows. I work on a full-system functional computer simulators since 2008. See this page for the details about the product. Virtual machines like Qemu and VirtualBox are quite similar to it. Some things that I do are simulation runtime development (i.e., adding new features and external APIs), CPU and device modelling, the development of Linux/Windows kernel hardware acceleration driver.
